How many hours will I be working?

It depends on the assignment and the company you are working with. Their
needs vary, and it could be lengthy at times, usually working 40 hours per week.
You also have the option of deciding the number of hours you wish to work. For
instance, if you are only available Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays, you can
choose those when registering. That way, employers and agencies will know
your availability.

Where can I register?

With Jobso, you can register from anywhere. For example, you can use your
phone or register from a computer at home or at work.

Is there a screening process?

There is no screening process initially, but employers and agencies may screen
you out depending on the qualifications they are looking for and previous
performance.

the comfort of your home or wherever you happen to be at the time, you can
browse for available jobs.

What happens if I am sick?

You just have to call your employer and let them know 24 hours before that you
cannot work that day. This way, the employer can replace you for the day.

If, for some reason, I have to leave my assignment, what should I do?

Let your supervisor know that you have an emergency or a prior commitment and
that you will have to leave at a specific time.

Are there opportunities for working overtime?

Overtime is usually dictated by the employer’s needs. There are no guarantees
for working additional hours, but you may be asked to work extra hours in rare
circumstances.

What happens if I cannot go to work; can I send my friend?

No is the short answer. There are several reasons for this. First, many employers
have security protocols that prevent someone unexpected from beginning to
work at their facility.
If the person has not registered with Jobso, they will not get paid.

What happens if I don’t have a vehicle?

With Jobso, you can pick the work that is closest to your home. Chose a
company that is on a bus route. Working at a company is the same as though
you are engaged permanently with a company. That is, you are responsible for
your own transportation.

I registered a year or so ago. Do I have to register again?

Unless you have changed your status or certifications, there is no need to re-
register; simply update your information. For instance, if you have a forklift
license that you recently renewed, update the new expiry date. If your work
permit has been extended, enter the new expiry date

How often should I check for employment availability?

It is a good idea to check a few times throughout the day. Employers will
sometimes add new jobs when they determine a need. Being amongst the first to
respond will increase your chances of success.

How will I be paid?

You will be paid either by cheque or direct deposit weekly, based on the number
of hours worked the previous week.

As an employer or agency, what happens after my initial trial period ends?

You will be prompted to select a payment option that best suits your needs.

As an agency, if I use another agency’s employee, will I get credited for using<br /> that employee?

If using another agency’s employee, you will share in the revenue, receiving 40%
of the invoiced price.
As I am lending out one of my employees to another agency, do I get any
remuneration
Yes, you retain 60% of the invoiced rate.
